My first CCO visit and haul

I went to my first CCO (The Cosmetics Company Store) not too long ago in Gilroy Premium Outlets.  I was so excited I almost had a heart attack.  For those of you who don't know, CCO is a store that carries Estee Lauder brands including Estee Lauder, MAC, Clinique, and Bobbi Brown.  Most of the items they carry are discontinued and/or limited edition, and all are sold at a discounted price.  Needless to say, I spent a good amount of time in there and spent way more than I should have.

I'm super happy with this haul and my experience there.  The ladies there were so helpful and friendly and let me wander around and test products for as long as I'd like.  If it weren't so dang far away, I would return again and again!

  1. Ooh, exciting! I love this place, but I live so far away from the nearest one (Napa), and the Gilroy one is better. I heard that there is one in the financial district in SF as well, but that technically you have to be part of the beauty industry to get in (although the word on Yelp is that they aren't strict)... You'd probably qualify! Looks like you got some really neat things, I almost never leave the CCO without buying something... it's so dangerous!

  2. Alas, I have moved to Fargo ND recently... while I thought Des Moines IA lacked a lot in terms of makeup stores, I wasn't prepared to face the fact that Fargo lacked even more. I think the closest CCO would be somewhere in Minnesota, probably close to the Twin Cities... roughly 4 hours away. So, long story short: this post makes me very jealous of you ;-)

    1. I know all too well what it's like to lust for makeup that is out of your grasp. Ya know, if I ever go again, I could probably do something like text you pics of what CCO has in stock and if you reply right away with what you want, I can get it for you and send it your way.

    1. Oh yes, sorry. THe name of the other one is Equilibrium. As someone who hoards makeup, I would say yes it is always worth it to check out a CCO. They just have so much stuff--surely you'll find something you'll like!
