At this point, I was pretty bored with my hair so I decided to go for it. I asked one of my favorite instructors, Ms. Charlene Dinsdale, to cut my hair for me. She is one of the sweetest people I know. I should have gotten a picture with her.
Just to recap, this is what my hair looked like after I got it cut short the first time (and with some curls in it):
It has grown another inch or two since then and didn't look too flattering on me:
I had wanted to keep the length in the front so that the slope from the back to the front would be at a steeper angle. But my perfectionist of a teacher snipped the front just a bit to take out the layers that were hanging around the front.
Anybody else ready to chop their hair off for the summer? Surprisingly, it's not as scary as I thought it would be.
Believe it or not, I am letting mine grow out! I had it super long, then chopped it off do the cutest, shortest cut I had ever had! Lol so, now that I'm pregnant it has grown so fast that I am going to let it. Btw- I love the very last pic. It looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteAh, the wonders of pregnancy!
DeleteSuper cute, I love this! The lighter color on the underside is gorgeous, too! My mom (who was much cooler than I am) had her hair dyed like that, but with the light on top and dark on bottom. Maybe I'll try something like that someday, but for now, I'm sticking to red! Thanks for showing us your new haircut!
ReplyDeleteAs to whether I'm planning on chopping off my hair... NOPE. I really wanted a bob that would be just off my shoulder a couple of years back, and I walked out with a pixie cut instead. NOT ok. So I'm sticking to longer hair for now!
That's pretty much one of a girl's worst nightmare, eh? Walking out of a salon with less hair than you want on your head? I don't blame you for wanting to keep your long long hair for a while then, haha!
DeleteI love how cute it looks!
ReplyDeleteThank you! =D
DeleteI really like this on you, I love bob-style haircuts!!
